“Evaluation of Viewer’s Profile: Which Hispanic Segment are Telemundo and Mun2 Reaching?” by Gerardo Hernandez Arroyo

Among the Hispanic viewers of Telemundo and Mun2, there are different segments, with diverse socio-economic variables, ideas, tastes, and preferences. The objective of the present document is to identify and classify the profile viewer into one of these segments. As a result, Telemundo and Mun2 should question themselves if they are reaching the objective viewer and/or start diversifying the content and programming of both networks to better approach the goal audience and increase the target audience in the long run. It seems that Telemundo could be a complement of Mun2 in the future since currently Mun2 is capturing a younger Hispanic audience than Telemundo.

“Advantages of establishing a limited partnership between Cinépolis and a Hollywood Studio and/or an American Independent Studio to finance the production of Mexican films” by Gerardo Hernandez Arroyo

This project analyzes the potential advantages of establishing a partnership between the Mexican company “Cinépolis” and a Hollywood Studio and/or an American Independent Studio to finance the production of Mexican feature films. This former idea derives from fiscal opportunities aimed to enhance the production of movies in Mexico. This partnership will build up a new business opportunity and bridge a strategy to increase revenue sources for the partners and develop exposure of Mexican films in Latin American countries, the US and the rest of the world.
